Application of synchronous permanent magnet motor in ball mill transformation

The motors used in a certain mining area beneficiation plant have low efficiency and high energy consumption, high failure rate of coupling nylon rods, long maintenance time delaying production, and low equipment operation rate. By energy-saving transformation of ball mill motors and adopting permanent magnet motor direct drive system, the reducer is eliminated, and the ball mill is directly driven by the permanent magnet motor direct drive system. The system operation efficiency and reliability are greatly improved, which effectively reduces the equipment maintenance time and cost, and improves the equipment operation rate.

   After the synchronous permanent magnet motor was put into operation, it ran smoothly without affecting production. After 4 months of operation, by comparison, its energy consumption per ton of ore was reduced from 9.57kwh/t to 9.05kwh/t, and the average electricity consumption per ton of ore was reduced by 0.52kwh. According to the processing volume of 450 tons/day, 330 processing days per year, and the electricity fee of 0.75 yuan/ton, it can save 57,900 yuan in electricity fee per year. Because the reducer transmission is not used, the lubricating oil can be saved by 100KG*10.7 yuan/KG=1070 yuan per year. The production time affected by the replacement of the coupling nylon rod pin can be reduced by more than 20 hours per year, and the ore processing volume can be increased by 375 tons. According to the ore grade of 1.85g/T, the ore recovery rate of 82.44%, and the gold return rate of 93.50%, 534.75g of finished gold can be recovered due to the reduction of replacement of the coupling nylon rod pin. According to the gold price of 440 yuan/gram, the annual profit of the enterprise can be increased by 235,300 yuan. Because the synchronous permanent magnet motor has a frequency conversion function and can run at a low speed, the installation speed is improved and the safety is guaranteed when installing the liner. Therefore, after replacing the permanent magnet motor, the annual profit of the enterprise can be increased by 294,300 yuan.
